Samolin 12% is a broad spectrum anticoccidial containing granular form of salinomycin, a polyether monovalent ionophore compound. Samolin has 12% salinomycin which has broad spectrum of activity against several life cycle stages of coccidiosis
For the prevention of coccidiosis in broiler chickens & rearing pullets (up to 12 weeks of age only) caused by Eimeria tenella, E. acervulina, E. maxima, E. necatrix, E. brunetti, E. mitis and E. praecox
Broiler chickens require 500-583 g of Samolin 12% per tonne of feed (60-70 ppm salinomycin), with no age restriction. Rearing pullets up to 12 weeks of age require 417 g per tonne (50 ppm salinomycin).
Feed Samolin 12% continuously as the sole ration from day one until 12 weeks of age for pullets or up to market age for broilers, allowing a one-day withdrawal period. For proper mixing, first create a premix of Samolin 12% in 8-10 kg of feed before adding it to the final batch.
